They’re a high-functioning construction, engineering and maintenance service provider in the mining, energy, industrial and marine sectors. They pride themselves on delivering safe, timely and affordable solutions for their clients.

Working closely with the MD and a part of the leadership team, the General Manager, Energy will oversee all aspects of business’s Energy, Oil and Gas division.

**Responsibilities**
- Business development and key account management
- Project management of key projects
- Operations management and delivery against budgets and forecast.
- Manage and develop a team, providing guidance and support to achieve business goals.

**Required skills and qualifications**
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Project Manager or Operations Manager within the Australian Energy Sector.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and proactive, ability to anticipate issues early.
- Ability to manage a high level of complexity and uncertainty.
- Strong customer focus, communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills
