Our large federal government client is seeking to fill two opportunities within their team:

- **Cyber Security Architect**:

- **Cyber Security Analyst**

**Role Overviews**:
**Cyber Security Architect**: As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust cyber security architectures to safeguard critical systems. Your responsibilities will encompass:

- Developing and documenting cyber security architectures aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Reviewing architectural and design materials for compliance with security controls and practices.
- Providing expert guidance on cyber security to Architects and Designers.
- Identifying and addressing cyber security gaps within the ecosystem.
- Advising stakeholders on the impact of changes to cyber security policies.
- Contributing to the enhancement of cyber security policies, frameworks, and processes.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with government security standards.
- Conducting security and quality assurance reviews of project deliverables and external service providers.
- Providing proactive advice on cyber security to diverse stakeholders.
- Assessing technical solution designs against established security baselines.

**Cyber Security Analyst**: As a Cyber Security Analyst, your role will involve supporting the implementation of robust security practices. Your responsibilities will encompass:

- Aligning security practices with established frameworks and best practices.
- Assisting in preparing for assessments and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Supporting the implementation of IT security strategies and managing cyber risks.
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure adherence to security standards.
- Contributing to the secure migration of services to the cloud.
- Providing expert advice on cyber security matters to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Reviewing security documentation and project deliverables for quality assurance.
- Utilizing statistical data to enhance confidence in IT system security and privacy.
- Preparing security reports and evaluating system enhancements.
- Mentoring staff and contributing to knowledge transfer.

**Skills and Experience requried to excel in these roles**:
**Cyber Security Architect**:

- Proficiency in Security Architecture (SFIA 4, 5, 6) with demonstrated experience.
- Strong understanding of cyber security controls and practices (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight).
- Ability to analyze and adapt to evolving cyber security policies.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.

**Cyber Security Analyst**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of ICT and Cyber Security technologies and best practices.
- Experience in a similar role within a medium/large size organization.
- Desirable certifications: CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, SABSA, GIAC, or SANs.
- Strong communication skills for advising and mentoring stakeholders.
- Familiarity with incident response procedures and frameworks.
