**Support Officer - Building Commission NSW**

**Grade**: 1/2 Clerk Grade

**Salary range**: $75,728 - $82,329 + superannuation and leave loading

**Duration**: Temporary up to November 2025

**About the team**

This role is an exciting opportunity to work within the Plumbing Operations Team on all aspects of regulation of plumbing installations across NSW with a focus on Sydney, Wollongong, and the Hunter regions.

The team is responsible for industry compliance within the legislative provisions of the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2011 and Home Building Act 1989 including relevant codes and standards applicable to plumbing and drainage work.

A key focus of the team is delivering on Building Commission NSW strategic agenda and priorities whilst working closely with other specialist compliance teams to deliver a risk-based compliance approach and the required customer focused outcomes and industry compliance.

**Your responsibilities will include**
- Timely and efficient processing of Plumbing and Drainage documents submitted by industry
- Managing a shared inbox
- Uploading documents to TRIM and Retriever
- Answering escalated phone calls for plumbing and drainage inspection bookings

**About you**
- Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Office specifically MS Outlook.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, knowledge of TRIM and Retriever would be an advantage
- Pride yourself on attention to detail meeting KPI’s
- Work within a team environment and have good communication skills
