This role sits within the NSW Small Business Commission Division in the Customer Experience team
**About the team**
The Small Business Commission is an independent authority which:
- Provides a central point of contact for small businesses to make complaints about their commercial dealings with other businesses and their dealings with government agencies,
- Facilitates the resolution of disputes involving small businesses through mediation and other appropriate forms of alternative dispute resolution,
- Encourages government agencies and larger businesses to enter into productive working relationships with small businesses,
- Supports the fair treatment of small businesses
**Your day-to-day**
- Employing excellent customer service skills to provide accurate and appropriate information to customers regarding legislation, dispute resolution and other matters affecting small businesses
- Working collaboratively and flexibly to adapt to changing priorities
- Contributing to a continuous improvement environment
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to receive and share information
- Maintaining complete and accurate records on customer enquiries
**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:
- Have experience helping businesses to resolve complex or legal issues.
- Have worked within a team environment to improve organisation’s approach to helping customers
Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $97027 base plus superannuation
