As the Trading Associate Director, you are responsible for the overall trading output of the trading team. You will lead & inspire Matterkind’s Addressable Trading team to offer IPG clients best in class addressable media solutions. Through market partnerships, solution development, technical DSP/DMP/CDP expertise, and articulation of Matterkind recommendations, develop trusted agency & client relationships and fulfil client media/marketing objectives.

The Trading Associate Director ensures all branding & performance goals are met across all Addressable campaigns. They are responsible for the training, mentorship, and delegation of tasks to their Trading team, and are leaders in strategic thinking as well as optimization tactics. Ability to compare/contrast ad tech partners and recommend the best tools for a particular campaign are key.

As Trading Associate Director you will work directly with the National Head of Trading and Operations, Kinesso solutions team and Head of Client Advisory to provide Trading counsel to key clients, whilst supporting the development of the Trading team.

- Key Responsibilities
- Lead campaign KPI fulfilment on behalf of team portfolio. Collaborate with Client Advisory team to extract optimal campaign performance, fulfill client objectives and hero campaign results through an insights led approach.
- Lead in the continual development of processes driving efficiencies within the team, eliminating roadblocks & bottlenecks to allow team greater opportunity to grow in knowledge and ability.
- Drive innovation by continually identifying growth opportunities for clients and presenting test & learn projects, channels and technology.
- Assist Matterking to develop and productize solutions for incremental revenue growth.
- Mentor, train and coach the team of Trading Managers & Executives through an on-boarding and development framework.
- Provide direction to direct reports via task management and prioritization in line with agency requests and client SLA’s.
- Accountable for fostering culture within the team, ensuring the retention & development of top talent.
- Assist in recruitment of new team members, managing team composition and portfolio alignment.
- Provide agency partners with thought leadership and education via curation of case studies for internal knowledge share.
- Present relevant topics to the wider business to promote MTK solutions/results and share knowledge.
- Participation in industry events for Matterkind representation and individual network growth.
- Assist Addressable media participation within new business pitches to further develop agency relationships and support business growth.
- Provide insights to our Client Services and Agency Teams to assist with the overall digital strategy of future campaigns.
- Align with Ad Operations and our Kinesso team to drive a culture of technology testing within your team.
- Collaborate with all necessary teams to initiate bespoke projects based on brand requirements, supporting digital acceleration and transformation.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with IPG agency teams as well as direct clients to become a trusted source of Trading knowledge, owning the Trading relationship of Matterkind’s client portfolio.
- Manage relationships with AdTech vendors and media partners to remain at the forefront of industry changes, whilst leading initiatives to uncover benefits and opportunities for clients to deliver business outcomes.
