As the Risk System, Insights & Analytics Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving the reporting, analytics and insights function within the Line 2 Risk team. You will work closely with the Head of Credit Risk, Head of Risk Management Strategy, Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk Frameworks and various stakeholders to analyse data, develop advanced analytics tools and data processes to support risk management decision making, monitoring and oversight.

You’ll also make an impact by:

- Designing, developing and implementing advanced analytic models, reporting and tools to identify, assess and monitor risk by:

- Collecting requirements from key Risk and Business Stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Translating the requirements into standardised documentation that can be shared with internal build and/or third-party vendors.
- Building and/or working with developers to design and implement the required output.
- Testing the accuracy of the newly designed and implemented required output.
- Monitoring the accuracy of the required output.
- Working closely with the business for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Utilising data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance risk management practices.
- Producing quality, concise and accurate risk and compliance reporting using risk data and insights to management, committees and the Board.
- Lead the design and oversight of uplift to the Risk management reporting process and metrics, ensuring key insights are provided to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead the design and support implementation of the risk management information systems.

**Qualifications** What you’ll bring**

You’re a problem solver with an inquisitive nature; you have excellent communications skills and a passion for analytical thinking. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to contribute to a dynamic team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

- 5 years + of experience in analytics, insights and reporting within the finance and banking industry.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, risk management software, risk reporting, analytics or related field.
- Expert skills in data analysis tools, data visualisation and relevant software (e.g. Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to build relationships, engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders on risk-related matters, communicating complex topics in simple, understandable terms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk reporting.
