About the role
As a Risk Systems Analyst at Australian Retirement Trust, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) systems, with a focus on the Archer platform. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating risk systems to meet business needs, while providing valuable reporting, analysis, and insights. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our risk management framework, supporting strategic objectives, and promoting a positive risk and compliance culture across the organisation. You will also deliver system support to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Develop, maintain, and support the Governance, Risk & Compliance system and related platforms.
- Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and insights to stakeholders using risk and compliance systems.
- Drive automation and integration of risk systems to meet evolving business requirements.
- Support the implementation of frameworks, toolsets, and processes within the Archer environment.
- Provide effective system support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate system outages or performance issues.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information within risk and compliance systems through regular maintenance and audits.
- Execute and sign off on test plans for new or updated system functionality.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in risk systems and processes.
- Develop and update user guidance materials to support effective system use across the organisation.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract based in either Brisbane or Sydney
About you
It goes without saying you/'ll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We/'ll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It/'s quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- Experience with administering enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance systems (Archer experience highly regarded)
- Advanced skills in Excel and intermediate knowledge of databases.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and process improvement abilities.
- Demonstrated lateral thinking to devise effective solutions.
- Knowledge of contemporary risk and compliance issues.
- Commitment to developing expertise in internal business systems, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to manage high work volumes while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience handling confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
