**THE OPPORTUNITY**
As part of our diverse team based in **Newcastle or Parramatta**, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.
The Workforce Planning team provide a high level of support to the business, encompassing planning, scheduling, workflow coordination and reporting functions for claims operations teams. As Team Leader, you will lead and develop the team, facilitating continuous improvement and individual development, and delivering positive outcomes for the business. This role requires strong leadership ability, workforce planning capabilities and an understanding of the target customer experience.
This position will be on a 12-month secondment position commencing **ASAP**, based in our **Newcastle or Parramatta** office, with flexibility to work from home.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, motivate, develop and coach your team to exceed customer expectations and deliver on key result areas
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver the best outcomes for each area
- Ensure teams have the resources and knowledge necessary to deliver the customer experience
- Proactively identify areas for opportunity, using a data driven approach to make recommendations
- Actively support the business and team through change management and implementation
- Develop and maintain insightful reporting on performance and productivity to assist leaders in driving desired behaviours
- Engage with external stakeholders as required
**ABOUT YOU**
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively
- A customer focused approach and a proactive and positive mindset
- A proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels
- Ability to interpret data and draw meaningful and insightful conclusions
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated technical capability across workforce planning functions and software, with Genesys Cloud experience desirable
- The ability to work under pressure to drive change initiatives towards positive outcomes
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to see the bigger picture
- Knowledge of the workers compensation industry desirable
