As one company with two trusted brands, we’re building on the strong foundations of our history and shared values as we bring together the best of both banks.

The role is responsible in managing the Bank’s third-party mortgage broker relationships, across their designated territory. The role is responsible to develop and grow the business and to ensure an exceptional experience for the bank’s customers.

**Why join us**

- As a certified B Corp, we’re part of a global business community who meet the highest social and environmental standards, balancing profit and purpose.
- Every role and person in our bank is essential to bringing our values, purpose and aspiration to life.
- We offer flexible working options, competitive salary and 13% super.
- Our staff have access to a range of meaningful benefits to support their physical and mental wellbeing including 24/7 free counselling, free flu vaccinations and discounted gym memberships.
- We also support staff with study assistance, paid parental leave (regardless of gender), volunteer, bereavement, gender affirmation and family violence leave; and the opportunity for bonus annual leave.
- We support our staff to grow their careers through learning and development and an organisational culture where we reward and recognise innovation and values, not long hours.
- We are committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that reflects the Australian community.
- We care for a conservation reserve - where we work with key partner organisations to protect threatened species and involve staff in conservation.

**What you will be doing**
- Assess and onboard new mortgage brokers, re-engage inactive partners, and establish new relationships to support growth in target markets.
- Provide ongoing education and support to brokers, ensuring alignment with the bank’s credit appetite, product knowledge, and responsible banking values.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, ensuring new funding aligns with pricing delegations and budget expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with aggregator partners and support broker professional development through regular contact, PD Days, and tailored business-building strategies.
- Deliver exceptional broker experience by meeting day-to-day needs and offering solutions aligned with values and market strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Distribution, Retail Banking, Corporate Services, and Marketing to support broker operations and communications.
- Meet performance objectives set by the National Manager - Partnerships and operate within delegated authorities and finance procedures.

**What you will bring**
- Extensive experience in relationship management and business development within an ADI, with strong knowledge of lending and third-party channels.
- Proven ability to build and influence senior-level partnerships, supported by excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with a sound understanding of retail distribution and customer-owned banking models.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and judgement in all interactions.
- Strong customer service orientation and alignment with the bank’s values and purpose.
- Adaptable, innovative, and open to change, with a proactive approach to personal development.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience with financial industry systems and processes.
- Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
