**Your new role**
The role of the Vendor Manager & Reporting within Finance and Reporting will be required to support the management, engagement, and performance management activities for new and existing vendors within our Finance function. You must be able to work with a high level of autonomy and management, including a focus on service, and a strong ability to engage and influence effectively with senior stakeholders across the department and with strategic third-party partners and market data vendors.
Some key duties but not limited to;
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Vendors, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Technology Services and the Investment Department to ensure compliance with license agreements, SLA’s and commercials is being met in line with the Third Party Management Framework
- Manage relationships with strategic third-party partners and market data vendors as per the Fund’s vendor management framework, including managing the on-going governance and service management forums with key data vendors.
- Track performance and, where required, establish SLAs, vendor data quality metrics, monitor vendor costs, and resolve relationship issues through working closely with business owners to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose, met and services are performant
- Oversee change delivered by third party vendors, and ensure vendor delivers to priorities set, acting as the escalation point, where required.
- Manage and maintain the contracts and commercial arrangements with third party providers
- Work closely with first line risk to facilitate, support and participate in operational due diligence activities on vendors

**What you’ll need**
- A tertiary qualification in investments, business or finance.
- Demonstrated acumen & experience in your area(s) of specialisation at a senior level in the financial services industry.
- Experience with financial aspects of product management including managing budgets and calculating costs vs. return on investment.
- Previous experience managing vendors and vendor contracts
- Experience in dealing with outsourced providers and managing regulatory change (APRA, ATO, other)
- Experience in navigating and extracting good results from service providers.
- Sound network in the financial services industry and the capacity to keep abreast of rapidly changing market trends, industry and legislative developments and manage them proactively.
