**The role**:
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships with named accounts and vertical partners.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic account plans and short to long term sales & marketing strategies for key Telco accounts and vertical partners.
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key stakeholders in the key accounts and vertical partners to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
- Continuously look to expand Vertiv’s footprint within the key account and open up related areas of business through new products and new customers.
- Use their sales influence to ensure Vertiv is partnering at a strategic level within the account and involved in early stage RFQ and design activities.
- Advanced knowledge of the competitive landscape and the regional business market
- Look to encompassing Vertiv’s full products and services portfolio to become a turnkey partner within their key Telco account.
- Regularly review and report on sales performance, sales forecasts and market trends within key accounts.
- Maintain an accurate and active sales funnel within the relevant CRM tools provided.
- Develop go to market plans, co-ordinate with Vertiv marketing resources to execute key account strategy.
- Provide internal leadership and customer advocacy to ensure Vertiv products, services and internal teams are fully engaged within their account so that Vertiv is able to achieve both sales and customer objectives.
- Ensure that sales and marketing initiatives comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
- Occasionally provide strategic 3 year plans to management on future account growth and revenue potential.
**You have**:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
- Senior relationships within Telco industry and main Telco customers
- Technical background &/or engineering degree
- Good knowledge of the relevant industry & associated technologies
- Comprehensive product & market knowledge
- Understanding of sales concepts & techniques
- Exceptional organisation, presentation, and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Working in a multi-product / turnkey solutions environment
