Absolute Care & Health is looking for an experienced ward clerk, medical receptionist or similarly skilled individual to join our dynamic team and help further grow our in-home community nursing service.

**The Opportunity**:
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in enabling vulnerable individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while receiving services that are often delivered across both privately funded and government-funded Home Care Programs.

**Main Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Act as the first point of contact for the case management team and Private, Home Care Program clients and manage calls accordingly.
- Establish and maintain client schedules, ensuring all scheduled visits are appropriately covered with suitably skilled staff. 
- Receive and manage new client referrals. 
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure service delivery reports are provided where requested. 
- Effectively escalate clinical issues to the nursing team for review and management.
- Support care staff with transparent communication, providing feedback to ensure they are informed of any client issues. 
- Has strong commitment to the delivery of client centred care.
- Has excellent time management and organisation skills. 
- Can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. 
- Communicates effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. 
- Is reliable, punctual, committed and has a strong work ethic.  
- Has a positive attitude with fresh ideas.  
- Has the ability to work as part of a team and independently.  
- Is available to work shifts that occur on any day of the week and that will be between the hours of 6:00am and 7:00pm. 
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Has completed studies in Health administration or would be willing to do so.

Pay: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
