Mortgage Product Manager New Business

**The opportunity**
The role includes owning product strategy, pricing, continuous improvement, and operational execution, to ensure the AMP Bank has the optimal mortgage product features and pricing to meet its growth targets and overall strategy.

Successfully performing the role will enable AMP Bank to have the right product mix for sustainable growth which meets customer needs and ensures our originators/distributors regard AMP as a product provider of choice.

**How you will make an impact**
- Support the Head of Mortgage Product with the development and execution of the home lending product strategy
- Lead and manage the Bank’s portfolio of home lending products and features ensuring delivering target returns to shareholders and within risk appetite and credit risk limits.
- Working with treasury, deposit product team and finance to provide input of mortgage volumes and pricing for the 3-year Bank strategic plan. Continual updating of the strategic plan to reflect updated actual experience.
- Be the key contact with Marketing at both a planning and execution level for various home lending initiatives
- Working closely with the Bank Transformation and Operations teams, strive for excellence the end-to-end home lending banking experience for AMP customers.
- Lead and support Product Analysts to:

- Continually monitoring volumes and competitor movements to ensure in line with expectations and propose repricing as required.
- Represent Home Lending at Product and Pricing Committee to update position of mortgage portfolio, and seek approval of pricing and product recommendations
- Lead the continuous development of AMP Bank’s home lending products in order to maintain market relevance and identified areas of AMP differentiation.
- Manage and approve requests for discounts and other offers from Distribution teams
- Manage customer complaints relating to pricing or product features for home lending products.
- Develop models and improved processes to develop pricing and to measure product profitability and performance

**What you will bring to the role**
- 4-5 years experience in Financial Services/Banking
- Preparation of business cases, product positioning and pricing proposals preferred
- Mortgage Product Management in a Bank, ADI or specialist banking service provider
- Tertiary qualification
