About the Role

What could your day look like?
Partner with amazing architects, engineers and platform product owners in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues
Develop a strong understanding of the teams’ needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built in upfront
Facilitate effective governance of key risk elements across ANZx to empower teams to self-check and remediate
Be a trusted partner on the transformation journey, building strong relationships within tech teams and beyond to deliver quality risk outcomes
Embed delivery and operational risk awareness and escalation and record risk information as needed
Embed compliance and regulatory management
Risk & Controls Assessment - ensure consistent documentation of risk information across ANZx for both delivery and introduced risk
Reporting - enhance risk reporting and ensure material decisions are captured.
What's in your toolkit?
Reimaging banking and challenging legacy thinking, using the latest cloud platforms and technology requires an innovative approach to tech risk and security. Bring all the creativity and new ideas as well as:
Technology domain experience (availability, cloud, cyber, tech delivery, digital etc.) - cloud experience essential, preferably GCP
Good understanding of Technology Industry standards including PCI-DSS, NIST and ISO270001
Expertise in risk management, assurance or operational excellence - however we can help you learn this
Ability to adapt to emerging market trends and optimise the way we manage risk and assurance
A track record and passion for driving the efficiency, effectiveness and continuous improvement of company policies and practices
Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution and delivery focus
The ability to build and foster strong working relationships throughout the organisation engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
