About the Role
Provide assurance over controls that supports our technology teams who are developing cutting edge, reusable technology, and great customer experience.
You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary risk enablement team who think about risk and compliance differently, providing simple risk solutions whilst always acting as a trusted partner.
**Role Type**: Temporary - 10 month fixed term contract
**Role Location**: 839 Collins Street, Docklands
**Work Hours**: Full time
What could your day look like?
Collaborate with program teams, value streams, platform teams, and engineers to review and test controls across our technology assets
Communicate and report on control testing outcomes, working with control owners to resolve issues
Support the development and execution of continuous assurance approaches, including monitoring, control uplift, and rationalisation
Provide analytics and insights on control assurance to support informed decision-making
Embrace a growth mindset, learning from others and sharing your knowledge.
What's in your toolkit?
Expertise in hands-on technology controls testing, risk management, and assurance
Experience in 1st line assurance roles, including control design and testing. Security controls testing experience is a plus
Technology domain experience in areas such as availability, cloud, cyber, tech delivery, and digital
Keen eye for detail and ability to communicate business and risk contexts effectively
Passion for driving efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvements
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in a high-performing team
Ability to adopt market trends and optimise risk and assurance management.
