**Your new opportunity**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated **Travel Accounts Officer** to join our **Finance team** at RAA in a permanent, part-time capacity (22.5 hours per week).

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling RAA’s Travel Trust Account through the Tramada Mid-Office System and Finance One. You'll support travel consultants with accounting processes, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and assist in the continual improvement of travel-related workflows.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers, process accuracy, and the travel industry.

You will be instrumental in:

- Reconciling daily bank statements and processing supplier payments and commissions
- Ensuring accurate GST reporting and month-end financial procedures
- Issuing agent error reports and supporting Travel Support with financial training
- Providing assistance to travel consultants with Tramada financial processes
- Preparing monthly and annual financial/statistical travel reports
- Identifying process improvements and maintaining up-to-date procedures

At RAA, we hire on **cultural add first and technical fit second** - but to be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in an accounting/bookkeeping role or experience as a **Travel Agent managing booking financials**:

- Excellent numeracy, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of **Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Excel and fast, accurate keyboard skills
- Understanding of **Travel and Mid-office systems** (Tramada experience highly regarded)
- Diploma in Accounting (preferred)
