**Job Brief**

INDEX is working with a Public Sector customer based in NSW to help them with a data quality improvement initiative. Once completed this initiative will help senior leaders and other stakeholders use data platform in operation and decision making.

This is a Part-Time role working 3 days a week. We are looking to hire a Change Manager on a 12-month Fix Term Contract (open to discussing daily rates as well).

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with the massive transformation initiative encompassing data, people, processes, and technology.
- Devise and implement change initiatives incrementally and gradually over a 12-24-month period, ensuring mínimal disruption to the organization while maximizing the effectiveness of the transformation.
- Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders, including volunteers (76k members) and staff members (1500), to build support and commitment to the change agenda.
- Develop a top-down approach for the initial strategy implementation and later transition to a bottom-up approach for detailed tactical execution, ensuring alignment with the overall project goals.
- Facilitate the adoption of change by creating a culture that embraces transformation, focusing on mindset shifts, and ensuring employees at all levels understand and align with the transformation objectives.

**Experience Required**:

- 7+ years of experience in managing organizational change, with a deep understanding of change management methodologies such as Prosci.
- A successful track record of guiding organizations through large-scale transformations.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate high-level strategic goals into actionable and effective change management plans.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
- Solid project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives within the specified timeframe.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to various audiences.
