**About The Company**
We are a Commercial Design and Construction firm based in the Sydney CBD and are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant.
**About the Role**
As a Bookkeeper/Admin, you will be responsible for managing the office and company accounts. The position will include working closely with our accounting team, directors and design team to ensure legal compliance and accuracy.
**Responsibilities**
- General Office Administration
- All Bookkeeping on Quickbooks
- Prepare payroll on a monthly basis, Superannuation on MYOB
- Must present excellent attention to detail
- Any experience with MYOB and Quickbooks would be an advantage but not essential
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Oversee the aged receivables, deposit, and monthly reconciliation of bank statements and accounts
- Make payments, transfers
- Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor
**Requirements**:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Punctual and great organisational skills
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Experience with excel spreadsheets
- Proficiency in MS Office
**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
