**About the Role**

Our Building Services team manages AM’s heritage building which has physical assets totalling approximately $270 million. For the team, every day is different and challenging with all kinds of exciting projects going on around the museum.

This role will support the Building Services team to deliver the Museum’s ambitious facilities management and capital improvement programme. Directly reporting to the Senior Manager Building Services, you will coordinate and deliver a diverse range of facilities services as well as managing small scale maintenance projects and supporting the delivery of other capital projects managed by the broader team.

We are seeking someone with strong influencing and persuasion skills with experience managing external contractors and internal stakeholders, coupled with an approachable and successful communication style which results in issues being raised and risks managed in a timely and effective manner.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience in providing support in a facilities and building services environment with an understanding of air conditioning and electrical systems and associated computerised control systems, with an emphasis on buildings which have a heritage component and are multi-use public facilities.
- Project planning, management and delivery skills and experience with contract management in a building services context, with a particular focus on general maintenance or multi-disciplinary activities.
- Knowledge of mainpac or similar asset management software is an advantage.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
