**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and mentor a dispersed team of planning professionals.
- Serve as the town planning SME for all requirements and matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage resources and work allocation efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee site selection and planning approvals.
- Provide planning advice and stay updated on industry changes.
- Maintain accurate reporting systems.
- Conduct planning audits and manage quality plans.
**About You**:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental planning within a mobile carrier, infrastructure provider, or SAED service provider.
- Strong knowledge of state planning legislation and the Telecommunications Act.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Town Planning or a related field.
- Preferably a member of the Planning Institute of Australia / Certified Practising Planner (CPP).
- Experience in managing a geographically dispersed team.
- Skilled in facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Experience in community engagement activities.
