**As our Manager, Engagement, you will**: - Play a crucial role actively involving community and industry stakeholders in the eradication effort for this highly invasive and destructive pest.
- Define, lead and support the development and delivery of strategic engagement, education, and communication plans across the National Fire Ant Eradication Program.
- Develop and implement a customer experience strategy and governance framework aimed to improve our customers' experience. This will include research strategies to uncover insights and develop and coordinate service improvements with senior leadership across the NFAEP.
- Provide consultative advice to management and stakeholders on partnership and engagement opportunities and initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of engagement and project management professionals to ensure delivery of priority engagement initiatives across the NFAEP.
- Maintain strategic relationships across the NFAEP, the department, other agencies, other jurisdictions, industry stakeholders and external groups, ensuring services are client-focussed, highly effective and consistent with organisational priorities.
- Develop and deliver partnership projects that build stakeholder collaboration and relationships and support good biosecurity outcomes.
- Represent the NFAEP at stakeholder forums and working groups relevant to the role as required.
- Support the NFAEP in building a strong evidence-base, through data sources such as social research, to underpin engagement programs and projects.
Mandatory requirements
- A current 'C' class drivers licence.
You may also have - Tertiary qualifications in communication, engagement or other relevant experience are highly desirable.
