**Role**:
**Hours of Work: 7.00am
- 3.00pm (Monday
- Friday)**
- Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
- Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
- An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

- The **Daily Organisation / Events Administrator**¿s responsibilities include:
**Daily Organisation**
- Manage the daily organisation and scheduling of replacement teachers, liaising with CRT service providers as required.
- Allocate replacement classes to staff as per the VGSA and local school arrangements.
- Engage casual relief teachers (CRTs) and allocate their daily workloads.
- Induct new CRTs to the College and ensure they are familiar with expectations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and auditable records of teacher absences, CRT allocations, and replacement class coverage.
- Communicate changes to schedules, rooms, and staff clearly and promptly to minimise disruption and confusion.
- Monitor patterns in staff coverage and flag potential operational issues.
- Prepare alternative and special timetables as required (e.g. for camps, excursions, exam weeks).
- Work with the Assistant Principals to support scheduling processes for student-led conferences, course selections, and broader timetable management.
- Prepare and support safe, structured experiences through well-managed events, supervision, and excursions.
- Ensure that operational decisions support equitable student access and a safe learning environment.
- Undertake professional learning and training relevant to timetabling and scheduling systems (e.g. Edval, Compass, VGSA, staff induction, employment conditions).
- Support the Assistant Principal

**Event Management and Compliance**
- Maintain consistent, effective processes for the planning, approval, and execution of school events.
- Coordinate event logistics and staffing across teams, ensuring support roles are filled.
- Manage all compliance requirements related to excursions, incursions, and school events (including risk assessments, permission forms, and approvals).
- Provide staff with event planning templates, timelines, and training in risk and compliance requirements.
- Communicate clearly with affected staff regarding event changes and supervision impacts.
**Communication and Collaboration**
- Liaise with administration staff, leadership, and teachers in a professional, transparent, and equitable manner.
- Provide documentation, updates, and guidance related to daily coverage, events, and staffing as required.
- Support staff wellbeing through fair, balanced rostering and clarity in communication.
