Daily Organiser

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a diligent administrator and creative problem solver to join our team in as our Daily Organiser.

The role of  Daily Organiser plays a crucial role in the smooth day-to-day running of our South Yarra campus. Working across our Middle School, Wadhurst, and Senior School you will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and implementation of short-term cover for teacher absences. This position ensures that the classes of absent teachers are appropriately covered in a timely fashion such that there is minimal impact on student learning.

Working from 7am predominately during term time, you will also support those covering classes by ensuring they have the learning material needed for students to continue with their classwork.

This role will see you

  • Prepare and manage the daily staff coverage roster for absences, professional development, camps and excursions
  • Coordinate relief teachers and allocate extra to MGS staff as required
  • Provide administrative support to Teaching and Heads of Faculty
  • Provide data management and administrative support to the Timetabler and Curriculum Office 
  • Assist with the coordination of parent/teacher interviews and curriculum documentation

Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a current Employee Working with Children Clearance
