**The Role**
Defence Digital Group (DDG) is delivering Defence ICT capability of the future - capitalising on best in class global platforms supported by best in class sovereign capabilities. By adopting modern architecture and platforms that are scalable, reliable, performant and safe, we will meet the demand of our integrated Defence force to be ready to fight and win in the digital age.
The Chapter Lead will also build and lead a team of RAID SME’s to support this outcome.
As a Chapter Lead, the role is also responsible for leading the professionalisation of the RAID function within DDG and will mentor, guide and support junior RAID SMEs as well as Project Managers and Project Support Officers across the portfolio.
The role sits within the DDG Program Management Office (PrMO), where you will be supported by several other Chapter Lead peers.
The Department will be creating merit pools to fill vacancies across the Organisation over the next 18 months.

As part of DDG, the Military Systems and Enterprise Systems Divisions’ deliver and enhance ICT capabilities that meet Defence's needs and ensure Defence is ready to fight and win in the digital age. The Chapter Lead - Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID), and Review will work alongside other Chapter Leads in the Program Management Office Branch to deliver capability within the Military and Enterprise Systems Divisions’.
- Be comfortable working in fast-paced project environments with competing priorities.
- Have extensive SME experience in Project Management, with a specific interest in RAID elements.
- Have in-depth understanding of relevant industry best frameworks such as Prince2, PMBoK and Scaled Agile.
- Be flexible and have an ability to adapt frameworks to suit the environment.
- Have a proven ability to lead RAID focused project activities and to use the outcomes to influence project decisions.
- Be able to lead a small team.
- Be able to plan a way forward that aligns to strategic goals with mínimal direction.

- Excellent ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and be a strong communicator
