This Sydney council is looking for a MUD project officer to join their team for an initial 4-month contract that will be supporting the waste management team

**Your new role**
- To validate Bin Audit data for MUD’s
- To analyse waste volumes generated by MUD’s
- Develop and manage MUD contact and service documentation, reports and management of MUD’s
- Liaise with residents to ensure ongoing positive customer, City and contractor relationship plus service optimisation.
- Assist in the preparation and on-going management of MUD’s, including cost analysis, performance reporting and risk analysis.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and delivery of fit for purpose service within the scope of the Unit in accordance with the councils objectives.
- Develop and manage service specifications, review schedules and waste bin sizes and frequency against service module
- Ensure service provider compliance with collection process for WHS compliance;
- Where required, encourage separation of Commercial and Domestic waste streams;
- Prepare project briefs, service plans, procedures and other documents to support service briefs

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Demonstrated experience in managing, developing, implementing and monitoring complex service specifications, projects relating to the delivery of waste and/or environmental management standards.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice and reports, interact with a broad range of senior staff, technical specialists, community members and other stakeholders.
- Must hold a current NSW Driver’s license (Class C)
- Ensure all services meet/exceed customer expectations in-line with contract and specification compliance, deliverables and KPI’s
