**HMO/MO | Permanent Position | Rural Victoria | ASAP Start**

This role is perfect for a Hospital Medical Officer or Medical Officer looking for an opportunity to join a team of dynamic individuals who thrive among good working culture.

**The Position**:

- Hospital Medical Officer (HMO) levels 1, 2 and 3 or;
- Medical Officer (MO) (Years 1 to 6 and thereafter)
- Permanent position
- Paid as per DIT EBA
- Provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients, including but not limited to assessment, admission management and discharge within all of our departments.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Recruiting Australian Residents/ International Medical Graduates holding a current valid working Visa and current AHPRA Registration.
- Must have passed AMC 1 & 2
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills (at the required level of competency) and judgement and expertise.
- Demonstrated teamwork, organisational, time management skills and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
- A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with a preparedness and ability to participate in after-hours overtime and on-call rosters.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.

**The Site**:

- The hospital is located on the Majestic Murray River in rural Victoria approximately 3.5 hours north-west of the Melbourne airport.
- The ED is a 24/7 department with access to on-call Anaesthetics; Medical, Surgical and Obstetric consultants.
- Approximately 630 staff service a 100 km radius area with an estimated catchment area of around 35,000 people
