**About the role**:
Reporting to the GM Supply and Optimisation, the B2B Pricing Manager is a key leadership role in Supply as well as B2B Sales. The role leads 8 direct reports as well as the broader pricing operations team. This role partners with the B2B Sales team to drive value through developing and executing innovative pricing strategies, improving the B2B customer value proposition and unique customer offers that deliver win/win outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has demonstrated people leadership capability, strong commercial acumen and a high level of strategic thinking to have a meaningful impact on the way Ampol does business and delivers value.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Be a trusted partner to the B2B Sales team, enabling the team to deliver on their ambition through innovation and thoughtful pricing strategy.
- Establish a pricing culture within the B2B Sales team and B2B Pricing team that seeks to understand customer needs, competitor positioning and develops pricing strategies to maximise value for Ampol whilst fostering positive ongoing relationships with customers.
- Strengthen and promote a diverse B2B Pricing analytics team that understands commodity price volatility, pricing options, market competitive pricing and strategies for exposure management, customer segmentation and the role B2B plays in delivering value to Ampol.
- Work with the broader Ampol team to continuously improve understanding and analysis of risk in B2B sales transactions and propose strategies to mitigate the risks.
- Continuous improvement initiatives on data analysis and system development

**Skills and experience**:

- Strong passion for and experience in leading people
- Demonstrated capability to partner and a drive for building positive and productive internal stakeholder relationships.
- High level of commercial acumen and strategic capability to drive and achieve business outcomes.
- Knowledge and experience in petroleum industry is essential.
- Energetic and desire to drive continuous improvement initiatives including evolving business systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Engineering or demonstrated equivalent business knowledge.
