**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Logistics & Distribution**
- Oversee warehouse performance
- Ensure distribution processes are compliant with all regulatory requirements
- Efficiently manage export of goods
- Administer and monitor storage and distribution operations
- Monitor inventory distribution to client partners
- Ensure freight and distribution processes are cost effective and compliant with all regulatory requirements
- Efficiently manage the export of goods

**Supply-Chain Management**
- Maintain established effective forecasting based on historical demand, lead times, forward stock on hand, and stock trends to ensure forward forecast accuracy
- Evaluate suppliers’ performances based on quality standards delivery times and best prices
- Sourcing, selecting and negotiating for the best RM and packaging materials in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
- Monitoring deliveries of RM and packaging to ensure that all items are delivered on time

**Inventory Control**
- Perform Cycle counting and reconciliation of FG, RM and packaging.
- Assist with stock control including stocktakes, adjustments and verification
- Monitor timely arrival of imported materials / products and manage corrective actions if necessary
- Monitor Dangerous Goods Storage and Transport
- Monitor flow of materials between departments

**Planning & Administration**
- Develop operating strategies and procedures
- Advise senior management of resources requirements for improvements in production
- Advise HR of staff requirements for improvements in production
- Review opportunities for cost reduction solutions for core products
- Generate and provide operational reports to management
- Implement organisational production enhancements
- Approve purchasing expenditures
- Ensuring compliance with regulations
- Collaborating with internal teams in marketing, sales and financial management
- Responsible for import/export operations
- Maintain Quality systems throughout all stages from receiving materials, production and distribution
- Coordinate with Administration/Finance to ensure correct supplier transactions are processed

**PROFICIENCIES**:
**Skills & Experience**:

- Applicable Operations Management tertiary certification/qualifications necessary
- At least 4 years’ experience in Production Management and Procurement
- _Must_ have more than two years’ import/export management experience
- Superior problem-solving skills
- High level communication and administration skills both written and verbal.
- Advanced computer skills (Internet, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
- Site Safety Regulations
- Staff Training
- Superior attention to detail; ability to set work priorities and meet critical deadlines are essential
