We are seeking the right person to join our dynamic HORECA team in Sydney, NSW. As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our valued customers. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is a hybrid role — you’ll be making deliveries to existing customers and building relationships, while also engaging in business development activities such as cold calling.
**What we need**:
A super motivated salesperson who is keen to work for a values-based business and excited about a hands-on role, we’d love someone who really cares about the job that they do and the impact it has on the customer. We are a small, friendly team in Sydney who are looking for someone who is a team player and enjoys working within a team to deliver greater mutual results.

To be successful in this role you need to:
- have excellent time-management skills (Most of the day is spent independently on the road so this is a must)
- be self motivated with a can-do attitude
- be able to make your own decisions & problem solve independently should you need to
- enjoy face to face customer interaction and having conversations with many different people throughout the day.
- Have a clean driving record
- be able to navigate throughout Sydney & have a general good sense of direction (Navigation system provided)
- Communicate clearly with your team-members and manager
- Seek a challenge and look for growth opportunities
**What you will do**:
- Communicating with customers on a set schedule to receive orders
- Delivering products to independent customers (driving a delivery van)
- Generating new leads and opportunities through cold calling, outreach, and prospecting.You will play a key role in building a pipeline of qualified leads and converting leads to new customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and interactions, ensuring all leads and activities are tracked and followed up on efficiently.
- Reaching set KPI's for new customer growth and revenue. Attractive incentives to be earned.
**What you will bring**:
We move pretty quickly at Emma & Toms, so our new teammate is going to need to be comfortable with fast-paced and changing priorities. There is a physical capability component of the role, so you will need to be able to bend, twist, and lift. And finally, attitude is everything; therefore, it’s a must to be proactive, see the bigger picture, and have a positive attitude.
In the real world, this looks like:
- Experience in sales and/or distribution is a bonus but not required.
- Previous experience in hospitality can be helpful as you will be used to being on your feet and talking to people.
- Safety conscious - aware of and able to adhere to safe work practices, have a clean driving record, and enjoy driving.
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable communicating within the team and to leaders regarding job specs, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Proactive - able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
- Planning and time management - able to effectively plan and manage the day-to-day tasks (most of the day is spent independently on the road, so this is a must)
- Conscientious - able to comfortably work under pressure and meet relevant KPI targets

Pay: $70,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
