**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a transformational Manager - Data Platforms to lead our data governance and business intelligence initiatives, as we re-platform to Microsoft Fabric. This pivotal role will shape our data strategy and infrastructure, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to promote data-driven decision-making and support the organization’s strategic, operational, and regulatory reporting needs.
**Reporting to the General Manager of IT, you will oversee**:

- Data Strategy: Define and implement a data strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Platform Development: Lead the re-platforming, development, and maintenance of our Enterprise Data Platform.
- Business Intelligence Oversight: Manage the business intelligence function, delivering actionable insights.
- Data Governance: Introduce and manage a data governance framework to ensure quality and compliance.
- Reporting Maintenance: Support and upgrade reports, dashboards, and the data warehouse.

**To be considered for this role you will have / be**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or beyond) in Computer Science or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in BI implementation and operational reporting strategy.
- Strong expertise in business data modelling and managing data warehouses.
- Preferable with experience in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
- Proficient in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL pipelines.
- Skilled in data visualization tools, particularly SSRS & Power BI.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Full Australian working rights and recent Police check.
