**The Organisation**
Our client is a large national business with over 100 years of expertise in their field, Australia wide. They have continued to experience significant growth, national expansions and positive success. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team immediately, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

**Role & Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Finance Manager, with a view of being a key contact for the Accounts Payable function, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- Processing supplier invoices following the companies approval processes
- Ensuring timely payments are made of supplier invoices via weekly and monthly payment runs
- Handling accounts payable queries in a timely and professional manner
- Setting up new suppliers
- Assisting with the reconciliations of corporate credit cards and managing staff expenses
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team

The successful applicant will have:

- Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
