We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer processing customer's payments, maintaining records of same, maintaining customer master information and reconciling customer accounts.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Process Customer payments to Accounts Receivable Ledger
- First point of contact for Customer queries and requests.
- Regular Customer statement reporting
- Reconcile and follow up overdue accounts, managing Customer payment behaviour through SAP Credit
Management functionality.
- Investigate claims deducted from Customer payments.
- Maintain accurate archived electronic records.
- Actively promote continuous improvement in the AR function.

**You will have**:

- Present a positive image of the company to customers.
- Ability to identify and service Customer needs and requests and communicate clearly and effectively with
Customers and Staff at all levels of the Business.
- Well-developed collection strategies, and an understanding of Credit Management principles.
- Able to identify discrepancies in information.
- Able to work individually and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility to handle a range of tasks with changing priorities.
- A strong sense of ethics and personal integrity.
- Responsive to challenges and able to “think on one's feet”.
- Commitment to and capacity for personal development.
