Purpose of Position
The Marketing Manager is a senior role that encompasses strategy, project management and hands-on digital marketing. Working with key stakeholders in the team to drive Free to Feed’s enterprise and keep Free to Feed food, venue and event offerings in the spotlight through strategic and consistent marketing activities that uphold the Free to Feed brand. This role would suit someone that is both creative and strategic and is motivated by outcomes and building strong working relationships with values driven and creative colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Marketing team and CEO to deliver on Free to Feed’s annual marketing strategy.
- Work with the Sales team to drive the marketing strategy to increase leads and enquiries as well as provide a beautiful customer journey
- Effectively utilise Hubspot CRM marketing functionality
- Analyse metrics of engagement and effectiveness of marketing tactics to grow website and social media traffic and enhance performance
- Measure, report and analyse the performance of content across channels and translate these learnings into actionable recommendations to inform future campaigns.
- Successfully launch key events/new products, planning and generating the go-to-market communications and assets.
- Launch EDM campaigns focussing on new offerings, special events or seasonal initiatives and new participant cohorts.
- Support the Sales team’s requirements in the digital sphere including the creation of sales assets, collateral and promotional advertising strategy.
- Contribute to Free to Feed’s digital strategy including Instagram, Facebook, Website, LinkedIn.
- Oversee communications and key sales messages for catering and experience promotion online and through EDMs.
- Support graphic design, brand storyteller, and inhouse photographer, to produce fresh, engaging, and inspirational content that drives results, including photography, stories, video and copywriting. You will also have the knowledge and drive to create content (photography, digital images, gifs, video etc) yourself where needed.
- Create and manage Google Ads incorporating SEO and keywords to drive engagement and reach (this may involve working with an external contractor)
- Represent the Free to Feed brand and mission and embody the values, mission and impact of Free to Feed in all marketing content to ensure a consistent brand experience.
- Develop segmented content and campaigns that are relevant for Free to Feed.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in marketing or communications
- Experience with creating marketing / advertising campaigns from developing vision to overseeing production and budget.
- Understanding of, and past experience in, creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print

- Strong marketing performance data which is measured through engagement and effectiveness of marketing tactics, including website and social media traffic, EDM engagement and sales pipeline.
