Builders Arms Hotel is looking for an Event Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team This role will see you work on big-picture planning while ensuring that the Bistro, Public Bar and Private Dining spaces are thriving through strategy, programmed events and superior organisation.
- Drive the Event Sales program, project manage all special events and coordinate internal marketing initiatives - A true all-rounder position.

Trader House is a collective of restaurants, speciality retail stores and tailored events by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House (currently ranked #84 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants), Cutler & Co, Marion, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Builders Arms Hotel, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher, Morning Market and Handmade Parties & Events.

This key management position will see you drive revenue generation and a full calendar of events & activations for Builders Arms Hotel.

Key responsibilities:

- Management of reservation and event strategy
- Manage a small team of engaged professionals, and help drive our quality-driven and inclusive culture
- Implement a calendar of exciting marketing activations, collaborations, wine parties, festival events and more
- Engage with our digital community and manage successful marketing campaigns
- Develop and review sales strategies to maximise opportunities and reach targets
- Host and showcase two beautiful event spaces
- Curate end-to-end events with guests, and manage event details with the restaurant teams

What you'll bring:

- The ability to develop, train and teach staff
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to build effective professional relationships with clients, guests and co workers
- The ability to project manage multiple marketing & event activations at once
- Exceptional ability with events logistics
- Experience working within a restaurant office environment in both events and reservations would be highly regarded
