We currently have an excellent opportunity available at our popular restaurant and function venue in Docklands for an energetic and motivated professional Assistant Restaurant Manager/Function Co-ordinator to join our team in a fast-paced environment, operating lunch & dinner 7 days a week.

With a visible presence on the floor, you will ensure the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities whilst also leading and managing staff. This role requires you to lead by example and enjoy mentoring a talented team.

Your responsibilities will also cover the organisation and co-ordination of our event portfolio including Conferences, Functions, Weddings, and calendar date events (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, New Years Eve, etc.). We are seeking a professional individual with an exceptional level of customer service who has a passion for people and our industry.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry
- Experience in event co-ordination
- Experience with opening and closing procedures in a venue
- An eye for detail
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience with exceptional communication skills
- Lead your team by example with a hands-on management style
- Passion for delivering an incredible guest experience
- Committed to a career in the hospitality industry
- Show enthusiasm and professionalism in your role
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Have unlimited work rights in Australia
- Excellent organisational skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Skills in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to offer Marketing and Sales Strategies

This position includes nights and weekends.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
