We are currently looking for a Customer Service Superstar to work in a permanent capacity for a leading Australian Credit Union based on the South Coast of Sydney, in beautiful Wollongong.
You will be working as part of the Multi-channel Customer Service department, where you will be providing high-level customer service to new and existing members regarding the many varied products such as:
Insurance, Home Loans, Personal Loans, Term Deposits, Credit Cards, Everyday Banking Accounts and many more.
**The Role**:
- Handle general enquires including policy details and amendments
- Have consultative conversations and provide first call resolutions
- Provide an exceptional service experience in each and every interaction
- Work towards KPI’s
- Ensure compliance with Credit Union Policies, governance processes and standards
- Participate in sales and customer service campaigns

**Skills & attributes required**:
- Certificate III in Financial Services including FSR Tier 2
- Previous experience in Insurance/ Banking/ Lending /Finance is highly desirable
- Up to date knowledge of the current regulatory environment and an understanding of associated legislation (FSRA, Privacy Act, Credit Reporting Principals)
- Demonstrated inbound customer service experience
- Ability to have consultative conversations and build strong relationships
- Ability to understand complex policies and navigate multiple systems at once
- Effective questioning & active listening skills are essential
- A can-do positive attitude, resilience and a strong customer focus is key
- Ability to “think outside the square” to solve issues
This is a full-time Monday - Friday role working each day on-site from
8:45am - 5:15pm.
