**Lead the change, from the frontline**

As a valued member of our Commercial team, the
**Operations Delivery Lead - Field Services **will work closely with the Head of Operations and across the business to mobilise operations to support innovative new solutions.

Based in
**Melbourne**, this role requires a motivated, hands-on business all-rounder with the ability to deliver operational processes and capability to ensure the innovative new solutions can be launched in the residential and SME customer segments. This role has a strong focus on working with field service providers such as hardware installation partners to ensure distributed energy assets are managed and installed to support the customer offering.

**What you’ll bring**

With respect, integrity and honesty, you will:

- Be responsible for the initial design and development of operational processes and procedures to support innovative new solutions. This includes:

- Order management and fulfilment of distributed energy assets e.g., batteries, solar panels, meters etc;
- Installation, maintenance and removal of meters and distributed energy assets, installed at a customers’ sites to support innovative offerings;
- Liaise with third party service providers such as hardware and installation providers, metering providers and business process outsourcers (BPOs) to design and implement business processes to support innovative new solutions;
- Management of service providers against agreed targets and service levels for delivery of agreed metering services including third party metering providers, hardware, and installation providers, BPOs etc;
- Work with service providers to delivery on agreed contracted services & performance criteria, including designing a governance framework;
- Work closely with the wider Operations team/Commercial team and other internal teams within Powershop, such as the Customer team to identify & resolve issues and articulate requirements including customer communication; and
- Work closely with Technology team on requirements and delivery of core technical capability as well as business processes to support.

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

- Proven energy industry experience working within the residential/SME market preferred;
- Experience working within a metering business, hardware supplier or installer of solar, or battery or other distributed energy assets;
- Experience working on projects related to distributed energy assets such as batteries, solar panels etc;
- Contract management experience with ability to manage to operational performance objectives and service levels;
- Able to identify key components of problems and situations logically, and interpret information; and
- Lateral thinker who can generate a range of creative fit for purpose operational solutions for new products.
