Delivery Lead

**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting new opportunity with an iconic international giant within the automotive industry. They are one of Australia’s most diverse workforces and are continually looking for innovative ways to excel, meaning their investment in technology and people is immense. The organisation are looking for an experienced and culturally fit Delivery Lead to join the company on an initial 12-month contract with the view to extend. Working within Connected solutions you will be working across several IT projects around cloud (AWS) and integration.

**The Role**

As a Delivery Lead you will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders based in Australia as well as in international offices ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects within scope, schedule and budget to effectively achieve this organisation strategic goals. You will primarily be responsible to provide the Connected Systems Platform leadership, development & delivery in order to provide the business with integrated technology and information systems support.

You will also be responsible for:

- Managing the overall project estimation, planning, team WOW, scheduling and delivery
- Overseeing priorities and requirements ensuring clear understanding of project deliverables, milestones and dependencies from vendors and supply partners
- Working collaboratively with your team to ensure high levels of accuracy, quality and controls across requirements, development testing and delivery whilst managing risks, issues and decisions with appropriate stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with other Delivery leads and domains to achieve project outcomes

**About you**

In order to be a successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience working as a Delivery Lead across technical projects and working with a range of suppliers and stakeholders ensuring seamless technological integration with systems.
- Excellent communication skills, vendor & stakeholder management and a willingness to conduct meetings with international teams
- Demonstrated experience working as a Delivery Lead within complex IT environments
- The ability to connect ideas, solutions and people to ensure that the best possible solution is implemented
- Previous experience managing scheduling, planning, team management, estimation, reporting, vendor management, RAID, migration implementation and transition to operations as a Delivery Lead
- The ability to work concurrently with waterfall and agile methodologies across the international teams and vendors
- Full working rights in Australia and an Australian Drivers licence

Qualifications / Experience
- Degree qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experience desirable
- TOGAF desirable
- Experience in solution architecture or related field would be great
- Experience in architecting and implementing complex mission-critical systems, spanning multiple technologies
- Strong object-oriented architecture and design experience, specifically focused on large-scale multi-tiersystems
- Track record in successfully driving architectural designs through to implementation with a hands-onapproach
- Deep technical expertise in software development
