**In this role, you'll**:
Join the Major Works Division (MWD) of the Engineering and Maintenance Directorate within Sydney Trains, you’ll develop and maintain high-level program and detailed project schedules, resource plans, and reporting structures to support effective tracking and management of the division’s projects.
Using advanced scheduling tools, you’ll collect, validate, and integrate data from stakeholders and project managers to produce accurate and efficient schedules. You’ll design layouts, filters, and reports that facilitate possession planning and resource programming, ensuring stakeholders can make informed, evidence-based decisions.
You’ll support the analysis and management of schedule risks across Major Works programs and ensure timely transfer and consolidation of project information from various programs into the Master Schedule. Additionally, you’ll contribute to coordinating commissioning activities, resource allocation, and milestone identification to enhance project outcomes.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position based at Clyde, with a duration of up to 12 months.

**About you**
You bring demonstrated experience in scheduling within complex infrastructure projects, preferably in rail or related sectors, and have a strong understanding of planning principles, critical path analysis, and risk management. Your background includes managing multi-discipline programs involving civil, structural, signalling, traction, and power works, equipping you to navigate the unique challenges of this environment with resilience and a positive, solution-focused approach.
Holding tertiary qualifications in engineering or a relevant discipline - or equivalent industry experience - you bring a minimum of 10 years’ of project and construction management expertise, ideally within rail delivery. Your trade qualification in engineering further complements your hands-on understanding of project demands.
