The Manager of Quality Safeguarding and practice will lead a team of young, highly capable staff to provide a framework for high quality, safe community services. The Quality, Safeguarding and Practice team provides crucial support to the organisation, ensuring strategies, quality services and projects are delivered effectively, comply with industry standards, and offer the best client outcomes.

Beaumont people are excited to be recruiting for a leading community services organization who been providing critical support to the community for over 60 years. Our client provides high quality care and people-focused services to regional and metropolitan communities including Allied health, supporting clients with a disability, children and youths, as well as families within the community. The organisation provides these services all across NSW from Tamworth to Newcastle.

**Role responsibilities**
- Provide proactive, strategic leadership to staff to enhance the delivery of services, inspire innovation, and develop effective responses to emerging client/staff needs
- Drive new policy implementation and simplify existing policies to ensure effective delivery of service to clients, as well as to support employee safety and wellbeing
- Develop the quality, safeguarding and practice capability across the organisation by training, educating and mentoring staff along with key stakeholders
- Engage with key stakeholders to maintain and foster key relationships
- Ensure the organisation is compliant with industry standards and all potential risks are foreseen and proactively responded to

**Essential Requirements**
- Strong leadership experience - 5+ years proven experience managing a team to establish governance frameworks and develop, implement and evaluate service quality, risk and customer safety
- Strong sector experience and understanding of legislation, regulations and quality standards within the community services space.
- Experience in long-term planning and developing strategies for future business development and improvement
- Experience working within the ‘out of home’ care and disability services sector
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
