Verve is partnering with the not-for-profit organisation Newcastle Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (NWDVCAS) to support them in finding a Practice Manager to join their team.

NWDVCAS mission is to provide women and children experiencing domestic violence with support, advocacy, referral and information as they negotiate the legal system and to help put an end to violence.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager on a part time permanent basis based in the suburbs of Newcastle. You will be joining a committed team that's driving change forward while fostering a culture of support and positivity, even through life's toughest moments.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks and financial reporting in Xero
- Oversee donations, grants and payroll processing
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, BAS and PAYG
- Assist with HR functions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain organisation policies
- Maintain office equipment and supplies

**Essentially, you’ll have**:

- Proven experience as a Practice Manager
- Strong computer literacy and knowledge of Xero
- Demonstrated understanding of a NFP organisation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive information
- Current WWCC + Police check or willing to obtain
