**About the team**:
Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. With an extensive footprint of over 1,800 retail outlets nationally, we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

**About the role**:
Joining our passionate and cohesive lease management team, this is a fantastic opportunity to enable our businesses to trade without impediment through asset management and lessor/lessee compliance with lease terms for all stores, offices and warehouses for the Coles Group businesses.

**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you’ll ensure that the Information Management System (PEPS) is up to date and accurately reflects lease deals, including approval of amounts paid to third party landlords.

**You’ll also**:

- Monitor options and lease expiries.
- Monitor budgets & forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with lease obligations.
- Perform and review lease calculations (percentage rent, outgoings).

**About you and your skills**:
You’re a self-starter who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, with highly effective verbal and written communication skills and experience in policy development.

**You’ll also have**:

- An understanding of commercial lease documents, real estate law and practice, common law and business law
- Extensive accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Advanced computer and Excel skills
- Ability to manage a number of objectives simultaneously
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines as an individual and in a team
- Create and maintain relationships of trust (internal and external)
- Negotiate for effective outcomes for all parties.
