IPA have a long-standing history of providing staff to the Queensland Government and are currently partnering with our client to recruit a **Procurement and Contracts Admin Officer **in the busy Brisbane CBD.

In this role, you will provide support and assistance to the Procurement team by managing procurements and contract related reporting, delivery of less complex procurement projects and managing a range of end-to-end purchasing functions.

**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Undertake less complex procurement projects, including initial planning, developing documentation, and establishing contracts
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across various business units to determine requirements and progress of procurement requirements
- Liaise with external stakeholders and suppliers regarding procurement
- Prepare reports, correspondence and submissions to stakeholders

- Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar role in government and/or private sector procurement, purchasing or contracts administration
- High level organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate office administrative systems
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- A qualification in Purchasing or Procurement will be highly regarded

**This is full time hours, Monday to Friday on an initial 3-month contract term.
