**We are Cartology
**Cartology is the Woolworths Group’s new stand-alone retail media business. Customer behaviour is changing. They have more choices than ever before - both in the way they shop, and how they consume media. The Data Governance Lead - Cartology, plays a key leadership role managing the relationship between Cartology and Group Data Management, as well as coordinating the required engagement and alignment across all the Cartology BUs.

The key purpose of the role is to develop, build, drive and implement the delivery of Data Governance functions across Cartology. Key to the success of this role is the ability to drive change in our data governance practices across Cartology through a structured and planned change management strategy, training and awareness and embedding of key artefacts in ways of working.

**What you’ll do
- Critical leadership role to help Cartology harness the power of data and help meet governance and data management needs of broader financial stakeholders.
- Set the strategic direction for data governance uplift across Cartology
- Managing and working with a team to deliver key Data Governance capabilities to ensure privacy risks are effectively understood and managed responsible
- Delivering key areas of our Data Governance Framework including decision making processes and escalation pathways, roles and responsibilities, associated training and awareness activities and communications to embed across Cartology.
- Development of key policies, procedures and guidelines for data governance
- Design and lead Development of and embedding Data Governance at Cartology aligned to Group strategy
- Supporting the development of general training programs and their ongoing enhancement
- Supporting the development of specialised and tailored training programs and their ongoing enhancement
- Consultation and guidance to roll out key capabilities including training, change management activities, communications as they relate to particular programs of work across the Privacy & Customer Trust COE (e.g.PIA, Privacy by Design and other initiatives)

**What you’ll bring
- 5-10 years experience in data governance field
- IAPP, DAMA certification or other related studies in privacy, governance, ethics
- Proficient knowledge of Data Governance methodologies
- Experience in PIA methodologies and privacy by design
- Agile ways of working experience
- Stakeholder Management
- Strategy Development
- Management and Leadership experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field including Business, Law, Technology, Privacy or related
