**About the role
**As we accelerate the connected data and digital ecosystem at Woolworths Group, this role will play a critical part in delivering and supporting the development of the next stage of an effective Privacy and Data Ethics capability to enable key strategic initiatives.

**The scope of the role includes**:

- Embedding key components of the Privacy Framework into systems, processes and governance in alignment with Privacy teams across the Group
- Supporting the Head of Privacy and Data Ethics in the delivery of key foundational and strategic priorities that evolve our Privacy & Customer Trust maturity to realise our ambition as a privacy leader across the Woolworths Group
- Best practice delivery across systems and processes to enhance privacy and data ethics including supporting the strategy and execution of Training, Awareness and Communications initiatives, Privacy Impact Assessments, general guidance and support and resources across the various business units
- Support best practice in conjunction with Legal teams to help manage change as a result of evolving privacy legislation and regulations
- Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the Group to influence and implement effective privacy & data ethics capability

**Main Challenges:
**While we have progressed with certain key privacy & data ethics capability, we have a lot of work to do to build out and embed these capabilities into the business.
Our opportunities include our desire to share and collaborate more broadly with our Group colleagues, the uplift of privacy and data ethics and to prepare our Team Members for expected changes to Australian privacy regulations.
For our customers, we have big ambitions to deliver further transparency and the ability to make choices about what happens with their information within our businesses.

**External Relationships:
**External partnerships and relationships to support Privacy and Data Ethics capabilities may be required from time to time. These could include creative agencies, training providers, privacy and data ethics industry experts, industry bodies & associations.

**Key Accountabilities:
- Working across the Privacy and Customer Trust Team to deliver key Privacy and Data Ethics capabilities to ensure responsible and ethical data use by delivering key areas of our Privacy Framework including data principles, decision making processes and escalation pathways, roles and responsibilities, associated training and awareness activities and communications to embed across the Group
- Driving and developing the delivery of training programs and their ongoing enhancement under the guidance of the Head of Privacy and Data Ethics.
- Driving and developing the execution of privacy, data ethics and customer trust resources and associated channels of execution (e.g. Portal, guidance documents, videos, animations, simulations, guest speaker events).
- Supporting the development and execution of tactical programs of work including regular Communications, Events, Updates
- Stakeholder Engagement within the Privacy & Customer Trust team as well as more broadly across WX and Group areas including other Privacy teams across Group, BigW, Countdown NZ, AFG as well as key teams including People and Culture, Data Science, Marketing, Brand and Reputation.
