**About the Opportunity**

The Chapter Lead - Domain Architecture is a member of Group Technology whose primary objective is to develop and lead the chapter for Solution, Data and Technical Architects while also helping us embed a culture of learning, empowerment, adaptability, and collaboration. As part of your role, you will encourage consistency and excellence, along with building distinctive capabilities and an agile mindset across the Architecture chapter.

As the Chapter Lead - Domain Architecture, you will be responsible for building and growing a high performing architect community with domain expertise and architecture capabilities aligned to the strategic priorities. You will also lead the continuous improvement of the Architecture community by defining best practices, driving self-organised, self-lead development, peer to peer development and reviews to ensure consistency of standards. You will play a key role in establishing processes for engagement, governance and continuous improvement of the architecture practice.

**As our Architecture Chapter Lead, you will oversee and have direct input into**:

- Enterprise Architecture strategy
- Architecture roadmap and framework (both group and digital)
- Support the roadmaps of Product Owners, product managers and Group Solution Managers
- Establishing the Architecture Review Board

**A day in the life of a **Chapter Lead - Domain Architecture at Endeavour**
- A critical thinker being able to identify and build capabilities that helps to achieve long term and short term organizational strategic goals.
- Proven ability to coach and develop others in your craft, and also in general leadership skills
- Collaborates with Product Owners, Product Managers and Solution Managers and Enterprise Architects to define the architecture roadmap.
- Responsible for ensuring Chapter norms and standards are understood and followed by their members and Line Management of the domain architects
- Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions within the Chapter
- Participates when required Inception workshops, to enable decomposition and planning
- Facilitate discussion to resolve conflict within the Chapter
- Coach Chapter Members in the capability discipline to be empowered and self-organized
- Maintains connection with external industry developments for potential opportunities in capability development
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships to ensure prudent and effective architectural governance is delivered.
- Partner with the Enterprise Architect in maintaining an up to date knowledge of the business priorities in a constantly changing environment and align roadmaps accordingly.
- Managing competing priorities where requirements and priorities change frequently.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Experience of being a team leader within a complex and fast paced environment.
- Self motivated and ability to motivate the team
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving
- Proven ability of leading an architecture practice will be an added advantage
