We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as **People Business Partner** (permanent, full-time) at Merlin Entertainments, supporting some of our iconic attractions such as SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, WILD LIFE Zoo, and Fly Treetop Adventures
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Head of People - ANZ this is a fantastic opportunity for a strong HR professional to bring their People & Culture skills to a unique environment. With both a strategic, IR and operational focus; this role offers experience in a global organisation where HR is truly valued. You will work with business leaders and attraction teams to ensure we are delivering on our business objectives and delivering memorable experiences to all who walk through our doors.
Key focuses of this role include;
- Effectively partnering with the business on all employment-related issues, in line with legislation and operational requirements
- Championing employee engagement
- Coordinate Right of Entry visits and managing dispute resolutions
- Developing strong rapport with all levels within the organisation to influence commercially savvy business decisions
- Collaborating with the ANZ and Global HR teams on national projects and tasks, participating actively in the creation and delivery of the HR strategy
- Being a key driver of Merlin’s EVP
**What You Bring**
To succeed in this role you will have;
- Strong HR generalist experience, particularly in managing ER/IR cases
- Strong ability to influence, negotiate and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
- A passion for delivering a brilliant employee experience
- A natural curiosity around motivating people and shaping better ways of doing things
- Previous experience building successful relationships with unions
- Tertiary HR-related qualification (or relevant experience)
