A newly created role has arisen for a commercially minded legal and compliance professional to join the Governance, Risk and Compliance team.

In this high impact role and reporting to the Head of Governance and Compliance, you will lead the compliance team through an important phase in the organisation’s life cycle as well as assisting in providing legal advice across a range of superannuation law, Trustee, equity matters and regulatory changes. You will hit the ground running as you lead the organisation in further establishing frameworks, policy and procedures with regard to legal and compliance. You will also engage with senior stakeholders as well as externally with the regulators and the legal panel as you lead and manage the legal and compliance function through this important growth period.

You will be a senior legal and compliance professional with financial services experience, ideally in superannuation although this is not essential. In this truly collaborative team, you will have the ability to form cross functional relationships and with highly developed interpersonal skills, you will have strong customer services and an ability to quickly build trust and rapport within this non-hierarchical environment.
