Join VLA as a Compliance Officer and help ensure practitioners comply with VLA's funding eligibility guidelines, merit tests and financial means.
- **Salary range: $76,426 - $98,901 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging**:

- **Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model**

**About the role**
In this role, you will provide information and advice to our practioners, lawyers and clients about Victoria Legal Aid (VLA)'s policies and guidelines, as well as rights and obligations. You will review lawyers' files (compliance checks) to ensure that grants of legal assistance are made in accordance with VLA's guidelines, policies, and the Act.
- This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country._

**About you**
- The ability to acquire knowledge to analyse lawyers' files and make appropriate findings in accordance with VLA's guidelines and policies.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- High level organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and effectively progress outcomes.
