Job Title: Legal Research Associate

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
Legal Research:

- Conduct thorough and accurate legal research on a variety of topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Analyze and summarize legal information to provide actionable insights to the legal team.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.

Knowledge Management:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge management system to organize and categorize legal information.
- Create and update databases, ensuring easy retrieval of information for legal professionals.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline knowledge-sharing processes.

Case Law Research:

- Assist legal professionals in researching relevant case law to support legal arguments and strategies.
- Summarize key findings from case law research and provide insights to the legal team.

Regulatory Research:

- Monitor and analyze changes in regulations affecting the organization.
- Prepare reports and updates on regulatory developments for distribution within the legal team.

Attendance at Corporate Events:

- Represent the legal team at corporate events, seminars, and conferences.
- Network with industry professionals to stay informed about trends and changes in the legal landscape.

CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Management:

- Coordinate and manage Continuing Legal Education (CLE) activities for the legal team.
- Ensure compliance with CPD requirements, track professional development activities, and facilitate necessary training.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field; additional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in legal research, knowledge management, and case law analysis.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage CPD activities and ensure compliance with professional development requirements.
- Willingness to attend corporate events and represent the legal team professionally.

**Salary**: $60,600.99 - $101,778.20 per year
